Tottenham fans will love Stan Collymore’s prediction for the new season

Tottenham’s upcoming 2025/26 campaign has mixed expectations.

While Spurs have no doubt performed well in pre-season, the awful domestic performance from the last campaign cannot be forgotten.

Tottenham finished 17th in the Premier League last season, which eventually resulted in Ange Postecoglou getting sacked.

In another campaign, Spurs may well have had serious relegation fears.

While a repeat of this is highly unlikely, Stan Collymore has been particularly optimistic about their chances this season.

Tottenham predicted seventh in the 2025/26 Premier League season

With Tottenham back in the Champions League, it could well be a challenge for Thomas Frank to balance both Europe and domestic competitions.

Another trophy would also do the Dane a world of good, especially as a bad start could see fans turn against the former Brentford manager.

However, Collymore believes that Spurs will have a solid campaign under Frank and will once again fight for European qualification in the Premier League.

Posting on his official X account on 8 August, Tottenham are predicted to finish seventh, one place above Manchester United, and one below Newcastle.

Liverpool are predicted to win the title, beating Arsenal, who once again finish second.

Spurs’ last five finishes in the Premier League

Last season was no doubt a massive drop-off compared to Spurs’ recent finishes in the Premier League.

For years, Tottenham have been in the race for Europe and have usually qualified for one of the competitions.

If Frank were to guide Spurs to a seventh-place finish, it would not look out of place compared to the last five campaigns.

2022/23 season8th
2023/24 season5th

Tottenham have usually been in the top eight

In three of the last five seasons, the London club have actually finished in seventh or lower, which shows how much of an achievement this would be if the Dane were to achieve this.

Hopefully, Frank is able to hit the ground running in the Premier League to ensure a successful campaign.
