Tottenham ‘delighted’ as Mikey Moore contract development emerges at Hotspur Way

Tottenham can enjoy their summer after ending the season with a trophy under Ange Postecoglou.

Postecoglou delivered the Europa League title in his second season and ended the North London club’s 17-year trophy drought, just as he promised.

Now, the Lilywhites must make several significant decisions over the summer as they prepare for Champions League football.

Indeed, talks with Mikey Moore are underway as Spurs strive to secure their brightest young talent to long-term deals.

Spurs to tie down future Premier League star

If Tottenham are to make progress next season, then they must tie down their best players.

However, there are doubts in North London over the future of Christian Romero, who is linked with a move to Atletico Madrid.

Spurs clearly have their full focus on the future as they are looking to hold down their brightest prospects to long-term deals.

It has been revealed that Tottenham have held talks with 17-year-old forward Moore, according to TBR Football.

Their chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, states that a deal is expected to be struck by the time Moore turns 18, with Spurs “delighted”.

With Moore reaching that age in August, that means a deal should be concluded around the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

The forward has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in North London, making 20 appearances in all competitions.

Moore has big future at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Players like Moore are goldust.

At 17, the forward has shown substantial potential, but his career is only budding at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Furthermore, Moore is a homegrown talent, and it would be hard to find any players in the Spurs’ starting 11 who have come through the academy.

The Lilywhites must now decide what role they want the teenager to play next season, as he is very much on the fringes.

Whatever happens, securing his future in North London would be a real coup.
