Tottenham backed to hire manager who’s big favourite to replace Arteta at Arsenal
Tottenham and Arsenal have one of the biggest rivalries in the country as they both fight for bragging rights in North London.
The Gunners were mocked after Spurs won the Europa League this season, while their rivals ended another campaign trophyless.
As a result, both North London clubs are expected to have a big summer, with Arsenal and Tottenham fighting to sign Leroy Sane.
However, the two rivals could also be set for managerial changes as well over the coming weeks.

Simone Inzaghi linked to Arsenal amid Tottenham speculation
Ange Postecoglou’s future at Spurs is yet to be decided despite Tottenham’s campaign being over for weeks.
However, Mikel Arteta could also get the boot from Arsenal after failing to deliver a trophy since 2020.
One of the most sought-after managers this summer is Simone Inzaghi, who has just left Inter Milan after their 5-0 thumping in the Champions League final.
| Simone Inzaghi’s managerial career | Time spent | Win percentage | Honours |
| Lazio | 2016-21 | 53.39 per cent | Coppa Italia x1, Supercoppa Italiana x2 |
| Inter Milan | 2021-25 | 64.98 per cent | Serie A x1, Coppa Italia x2, Super Coppa Italiana x3, Champions League runners-up x2 |
Tottenham have been told to hire Inzaghi if they do sack Postecoglou, with the Italian’s managerial record being highly impressive.
However, on BetVictor (4 June), Inzaghi is the favourite to take over at the Emirates if they do choose to sack Arteta.
The Italian is priced at 5/1, with Massimiliano Allegri placed second favourite at 6/1.

Inzaghi to Arsenal links is a warning to Tottenham
Despite speculation surrounding Postecoglou’s future lasting for months, Daniel Levy is yet to make an official decision.
This is not only damaging preparations for the 2025/26 campaign, but it could also see the North London club miss out on potential managers.
Inzaghi has already been linked to Al-Hilal, and if Tottenham don’t act quickly, they could miss out on the Italian.
The 49-year-old becoming the favourite to move to Arsenal should be a big warning to Levy.
If the Tottenham chairman does not make a decision soon, the North London club could see Inzaghi go to the Gunners due to their failure to act quickly and decisively.
