Tim Sherwood makes remarkable Manor Solomon admission at Tottenham

Tim Sherwood has made his feelings clear on Tottenham loanee Manor Solomon while on loan at Leeds United.

The Israel international completed a temporary switch to Elland Road in the summer and has gone on to shine in the Championship.

The form of the 25-year-old has helped the Whites to promotion back to the Premier League, confirming their promotion with a 6-0 win against Stoke City on Monday (21 April).

Even with this being the case, Sherwood has shared a damming admission which may pique the interest of Ange Postecoglou in North London.

Sherwood baffled by Solomon at Leeds United

It has been a largely difficult campaign for the Lilywhites as the slide down the Premier League table has been clear for all the see.

By comparison, Leeds have risen up the Championship and are now set to play a role in next season’s Premier League and face up against the N17 outfit.

It will be interesting to see what that means for the future of Solomon, who has easily been one of the best players in the second tier.

This talent was certainly on show against Stoke as the winger grabbed two assists in a 6-0 win, which ultimately sealed a division rise.

Reacting to this result live on Sky Sports News (21 April, 05:16pm), former Spurs boss Sherwood wasn’t holding back in a glowing reference of the forward.

He said: “What a delivery from Manor Solomon. What a player he is. He shouldn’t be at Leeds.”

Postecoglou has Solomon decision to make at Tottenham

There has been a general lack of creativity at times in North London, which has been greatly frustrating throughout the campaign.

Even someone with the quality of Son Heung-min has been poor, and as a result, changes could be entirely possible in the coming weeks ahead of the summer window.

Postecoglou has begun to give chances to the likes of Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel recently but Solomon may prove to be better than both of them.

Considering the 25-year-old has racked up 20 goal involvements in the Championship, there is no reason why he shouldn’t be given an opportunity to shine.
