Thomas Frank now favourite for Premier League job as instant return possible
Thomas Frank could be handed a lifeline by another struggling Premier League club.
Having done a superb job at Brentford before contributing to the capitulation at Tottenham, Frank is going to get another chance in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
And as per the latest odds from major bookmakers, the Dane is now the favourite to take over from Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace.
Ange Postecoglou has also been in the running for the job over the last few weeks after Glasner confirmed that he would be departing in the summer.
Frank is 2/1 to take over at Selhurst Park, with Sean Dyche and Kieran McKenna two of the other standout candidates.
The former of whom has only just been sacked by Nottingham Forest.

Would Thomas Frank be a good fit for Crystal Palace?
Frank failed quite spectacularly at Tottenham, and that comes as no surprise after it was revealed he thought more of Pedro Porro than any other member of the squad.
However, despite Postecoglou claiming otherwise, Spurs are a huge club, and one that was quite evidently too big for Frank to assume control of.
There’s no surprise that his best stint in management has been with a so-called lesser side in Brentford, and it would be a similar scenario at Selhurst Park.
Expectations are much lower than they are at Tottenham, and that in itself allows a manager to be far more fluid and experimental without the constant pressure of having to deliver success.
And that is backed up by the record at Brentford when he was averaging 1.51 points per game, compared to the 1.29 he’s managed at Tottenham, despite arguably having a much better squad at his disposal.
Who is expected to take over next at Tottenham?
As of right now, it seems more likely that Spurs will hire an interim manager to ensure that they can survive in the Premier League this season.
In regard to that, Ryan Mason already been linked with a return to Tottenham to fulfil that role.
However, Spurs need someone to come in at some point in the summer and get this club back to where it belongs.
That’s where Mauricio Pochettino comes in, with reports stating that he has been selected as the next permanent manager to take over the reins from Frank.
And given the success he found in his first stint in North London, it would certainly be a welcome return.
