Thomas Frank could oversee unwanted Tottenham first in Premier League clash vs Brighton
Thomas Frank must be given credit for the start he has made to life in the Tottenham dugout.
Spurs have been in superb form in the Premier League, with a defeat to Bournemouth the only blemish.
While Tottenham’s opening Champions League performance against Villarreal was forgettable, there is every reason to be excited at Hotspur Way.
Frank’s side face a potentially tricky trip to Brighton on Saturday and will be hoping to avoid a Premier League first for the Lilywhites.

Tottenham have lost their last two Premier League visits to Brighton
Despite their start to the season, the data suggests that Spurs head to the Amex Stadium as underdogs against Brighton.
All eyes will be on Frank to see how he rotates his team after their 1-0 over Villarreal on Tuesday night.
One area of contention will be the position of Xavi Simons, who many supporters want to see played centrally.
Randal Kolo Muani made his Tottenham debut against the Yellow Submarine, but is likely to continue from the bench.

- 6 October 2024: Brighton 3-2 Tottenham
Brighton certainly cannot be underestimated, and they will be looking to do something they have never done against Spurs in the top flight.
Spurs have lost away to the Seagulls in both of the last two league seasons, but they have never lost three successive visits. This is clearly something Frank will not want to oversee this weekend.
Indeed, Brighton completed a Premier League double over Tottenham last season – the only time they have ever won back-to-back league meetings with the Lilywhites.

What happened last time Spurs visited Brighton?
A fixture between the two teams usually means goals, although Tottenham have only conceded one league goal this season.
Last term, the Lilywhites enjoyed the ideal start on the South Coast and went two goals up courtesy of Brennan Johnson and James Maddison.
However, Fabian Hurzeler’s side scored three goals in less than 30 minutes through Yankuba Minteh, Georginio Rutter, and Danny Welbeck.
It was a Destiny Udogie mistake that started the collapse, and he may well play some part on Saturday.
The defeat meant that it was the 10th time that Tottenham had lost a Premier League game when leading by two or more goals – the first club to hit double figures.
While Frank has every reason to feel confident, he will be only too aware of the threat that Brighton pose.
