Son Heung-Min texts Harry Kane ahead of huge Tottenham developments
Son Heung-Min has messaged former teammate Harry Kane, who is still celebrating his first major silverware away from Tottenham.
Back in London, Tottenham have reached the sixth European final in their history without Son on the pitch against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-final.
Son, like the North London club, have had a disappointing season and the Europa League final appears the final chance to turn things around and secure Champions League football next season.
The South Korean started on the bench for Tottenham in their home defeat to Crystal Palace, but all signs point towards him being ready to face Manchester United in the final.
Kane has nothing left to play for after lifting the Bundesliga with Bayern.

Son congratulates Kane
The Spurs star will play a massive part in whether Tottenham will take any silverware of their own back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, the thought of ending Tottenham’s trophy drought did not preventing him on congratulating Kane on his own.

The Scottish Daily Mail has shared in its print edition (pg 60, 13 May) that Son texted congratulations to his former striker partner after Kane won the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich, who responded with a video call.
“I was really happy to see him happy,” said the Spurs captain. “He is one of my best friends, and to see him achieve so much, I was delighted for him, like he’s my family.
“With that positive energy, I hope he can support Spurs in our game as well, so we can achieve a good result like him.”

Postecoglou needs to trust Son
While the Tottenham captain has had a difficult season, if there was ever a time for Postecoglou to get behind him, it is now.
The 32-year-old has been a key player at Spurs for 10 years and has dedicated much of his career to the North London club.
While Kane was well within his rights to depart for Germany in the hopes of securing silverware, Son remains dedicated to the dream of achieving glory with Spurs.
There is no more deserving person at the Lilywhites to captain his team to their first major trophy in 17 years, but it would be huge for everyone.
Indeed, it is a risk for Postecoglou to take, but on passion alone, Son brings an advantage that few could offer.
