Son Heung-min says Tottenham star hasn’t text him once since leaving – Hilarious reason why revealed

Son Heung-min and Archie Gray had a wholesome interaction on camera as Tottenham beat Slavia Praha in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The former Spurs captain jokingly claimed that the 19-year-old hasn’t texted him once since his move to Los Angeles in the summer.

Son returned to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 9 December as the North London outfit looked to honour one of the best players in their history.

Spurs ended up beating Slavia 3-0 at home, with the Europa League-winning skipper in the stands watching the game.

Archie Gray doesn’t seem to have Son Heun-min number after Tottenham exit

Son claimed in jest that Gray hasn’t contacted him in several months, but the former Leeds United star may have a solid reason.

The midfielder claimed he doesn’t have the South Korea international’s new number after his move to the MLS.

It was a hilarious interaction between the two that shows how much the ex-captain is still liked in the dressing room.

Speaking on Tottenham’s official Instagram account, Son said, “Ever since I left, not one text. Not one text,” to which Gray responded, “Do you want me to explain why? Do you want to know why? Somebody has a new number. New number, who dis?”

Son then said, “He can text me on Instagram,” but Gray came back with another witty remark, “It goes to his requests.”

Son will forever be remembered for captaining Spurs to the Europa League title, which was their first piece of major silverware in 17 years.

Tottenham’s Champions League record this season

Opta predicts the North London outfit to finish 12th in the league phase table, meaning they will have to feature in the play-off to make it to the knockout rounds of the European competition.

The likes of Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Napoli and Juventus are also not expected to make the top eight, which will surely make for an interesting viewing.
