Sky Sports share major Dejan Kulusevski injury update from Tottenham training
Dejan Kulusevski was absent from Tottenham’s recent encounter with Southampton, with Sky Sports issuing an update on his status ahead of their Europa League tie.
Injuries have taken their toll on Tottenham this season, with much of their domestic shortcomings arriving as a result of that situation.
Ange Postecoglou will, of course, shoulder the remainder of the blame for what has been a dismal season, though Europa League success remains a possibility.
Frankfurt are the opponents for Spurs midweek, and an update has emerged on the fitness of Kulusevski ahead of the encounter in North London.

Tottenham have Kulusevski concern ahead of Europa League clash
In what has been a dull campaign, Kulusevski has provided plenty of positives in somewhat of a newfound position under Postecoglou.
However, injuries have prevented the Tottenham man from making any real progress, and as per the latest update from Michael Bridges, that seems unlikely to change against Frankfurt.
Tottenham | Games | Goals | Assists |
Kulusevski | 27 | 7 | 4 |
Speaking live on Sky Sports News (9 April, 11:33am), he said: “Spurs have the majority of their first-team players, but there’s no Dejan Kulusevski – he’s out with that foot injury. Or at least I’m assuming so. I also can’t see Kevin Danso out there, either.
Given the need for Tottenham to find success in the Europa League, his absence would be a huge blow to their chances of securing victory in the first of two legs against the Bundesliga outfit.

Postecogolou must deliver success via the Europa League
Postecoglou could face the sack regardless of what happens in the next few weeks, but his exit will be essentially sealed if Spurs fail to progress.
Not only is it their remaining chance of a trophy, but it is also the only way they can secure European football for the new campaign.
A failure to do that would have a drastic effect on the finances at Tottenham, and could scupper their recruitment plans for the summer transfer window.
With Kulusesvki seemingly set to miss out, Postecoglou will need to find a way to cope in his absence, and ensure that whatever he does will get the best out of the likes of Brennan Johnson, who scored twice in the 3-1 victory against now-relegated Southampton.
