Simone Inzaghi tipped for Tottenham job as he accepts job offer
Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham has remained unresolved despite the 2024/25 campaign now being over.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is yet to confirm if the Australian will be in charge of the London club for the upcoming season.
Postecoglou’s position was seemingly strengthened when Tottenham won the Europa League last month.
However, speculation over the 59-year-old’s future has now continued into June, with the London club now being told to hire former Inter manager Simone Inzaghi.

Jamie O’Hara tells Tottenham to ‘go big’ and make Inzaghi Spurs manager
Multiple managers have been linked to the role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Scott Parker was believed to be an early front-runner at Spurs after his success at Burnley this season.
However, in recent weeks, Thomas Frank has become the favourite to take over Postecoglou.
Now, Jamie O’Hara is demanding that Levy “goes big” and pursues Inzaghi who left his role at Inter on Tuesday.
He told Grosvenor Sports (2 June): “It’s time for Spurs to move on from Ange Postecoglou.
“He’s lost 22 games in the Premier League; this season has been a shambles. I understand that he won the Europa League, which was a monumental moment for the football club but, let’s be honest, the game was terrible, the performance wasn’t great, and Manchester United were an awful opposition.
“I believe Daniel Levy is genuinely thinking about getting rid of him and looking at other options.
“I would be looking at Thomas Frank or Andoni Iraola. Frank has been in the Premier League a long time, he’s done a great job at Brentford with a budget. Does he deserve the chance at a ‘Big Six’ club? I’d say he probably does.
“But if you’re going to go big, Levy should be looking at the likes of Xavi Hernandez or Simone Inzaghi – Inter Milan have just been embarrassed in the Champions League final. Spurs have had similar managers in the past, with Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
“There are options out there, and Spurs need to realise they’re a big football club, playing in the Champions League next season, with a UEFA Super Cup to play and the opportunity to kick on next year. Is Ange the man to take them forward? I don’t think so.”

Spurs need to hurry if they want Inzaghi amid Al-Hilal offer
There is no doubt that Inzaghi is a top manager. The Italian has won trophies wherever he has gone, and was only one game away from ending Inter’s long wait for another Champions League.
As a result, many other clubs are pursuing the 49-year-old. According to journalist Matteo Moretta (3 June), Inzaghi has accepted a proposal to move to Saudi side Al-Hilal.
Simone Inzaghi’s managerial career | Time spent | Win percentage | Honours |
Lazio | 2016-21 | 53.39 per cent | Coppa Italia x1, Supercoppa Italiana x2 |
Inter Milan | 2021-25 | 64.98 per cent | Serie A x1, Coppa Italia x2, Super Coppa Italiana x3, Champions League runners-up x2 |
Therefore, if Tottenham want to bring in the Italian, they will have to act fast before he moves to the Middle East.
If Spurs do lose out, Levy will have no one to blame but himself as the Spurs chairman continues to ponder Postecoglou’s position.
