Scotland job speculated for Postecoglou as SFA could ‘move on from Steve Clarke’
Ange Postecoglou has a great reputation in Scotland after his previous role at Celtic.
The Australian oversaw five trophies in two years at the Glaswegian side, including two Scottish Premierships and one Scottish Cup.
Postecoglou eventually left Celtic for Tottenham in 2023 after an impressive spell.
Now, the former Spurs manager could be set for the Scotland job as Steve Clarke struggles north of the border.

Ally McCoist tips Postecoglou to take over Scotland national team
While Postecoglou was only sacked by Tottenham last week, he is unlikely to be out of work for long.
Postecoglou has been linked with the Brentford job as Spurs prepare to appoint Thomas Frank.
However, the Australian could instead make a return to international management.
Speculation over the future of Clarke at Scotland has increased in recent weeks after the Tartan Army lost 3-1 to Iceland on Friday.

With the 61-year-old out of contract next year, talkSPORT (10 June) believes that Clarke’s deal is unlikely to be renewed.
Now, Ally McCoist has put his Rangers allegiances aside and backed Postecoglou to take over the Scotland job, stating he “wouldn’t have an issue” with the appointment.
“He’d do me absolutely. I wouldn’t have a problem with it at all. He wins things,” McCoist said.
“Steve Clarke has done an excellent job for Scotland, and hopefully he can get us over the line in the [World Cup] qualifiers against Denmark, Greece and Belarus.
“It’s a good group for us. We’ve got a good opportunity of doing well in the qualifiers, but moving on, if you’re asking me if I’d have a problem with Big Ange managing the national team? I wouldn’t have a problem at all.”

Postecoglou is likely to have more success despite Tottenham sacking
One of the key elements of Postecoglou’s managerial career is that the Australian wins things wherever he has gone.
Whether he ends up at Scotland, Brentford or elsewhere, he is likely to still have a successful career.
In years to come, Tottenham may well look back at the sacking as a critical mistake by Daniel Levy.
The 59-year-old arguably should have had a shot at the 2025/26 campaign at Spurs, which could have easily resulted in another trophy.
However, only time will tell if Levy has made the right decision at Tottenham.
