Roberto De Zerbi odds shift for Tottenham job as sack meeting underway
Tottenham could appoint Roberto De Zerbi as their next manager.
Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Frankfurt on Wednesday night secured their spot in the top four of the Champions League league phase.
However, given the failures they have showcased in the Premier League, that will have done little to alleviate the pressure that has been mounting on Thomas Frank in North London.
The Dane remains at risk of facing the sack at Spurs before the end of the season, and a new movement abroad has highlighted their potential next appointment.

Roberto De Zerbi looks set for sack at Marseille
De Zerbi has been mooted for the Tottenham job in the past, having done an excellent job with Brighton in the Premier League.
The Italian joined Marseille after his exit from the Amex in 2024, and led the French outfit to a second-placed finish in Ligue 1. He currently has them third after 19 games in the current campaign.
However, Marseille were dumped out of the Champions League by Club Brugge on Wednesday, with Fabrice Hawkins reporting that meetings are now underway to determine his future.
It’s claimed that De Zerbi is in “serious danger” of losing his job in France, and as a result, his odds for the Tottenham job have shortened.
The Italian is now 6/1 to take over at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but is still behind the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Robbie Keane, who remain among the favourites.

Thomas Frank could be set for a similar fate
No matter who Spurs have faced this season, they have struggled massively, and that is demonstrated by the fact that they sit 14th in the Premier League table with just 28 points from 23 games.
However, with some incredibly tough fixtures approaching, that could change in an instant, and if Tottenham fail to beat Man City this weekend, they could find themselves just five points above the drop zone.
That is dependent on results elsewhere, but given how close Tottenham came to relegation last season, the Lewis family will not want to take any risks.
As soon as that fear comes back into fruition, there will be a decision to be made, and it’s one that is unlikely to favour Frank.
