Richarlison target for Saudi Pro League as Tottenham striker wanted in January – report
Tottenham striker Richarlison is emerging as a top target for Saudi clubs in January, according to The Telegraph.
The newspaper has reported online (13 November) that the Saudi Pro League are currently finalising finances ahead of the winter transfer window as they prepare for a fresh assault on the Premier League.
Richarlison was the subject of Saudi interest toward the end of the summer, although Tottenham were not willing to let the Brazillian leave, and while it is unclear if the north London club’s stance has shifted, Saudi clubs are ready to once again test the water.

The 26-year-old is currently out of action after undergoing surgery and has recently lost his place in the Tottenham team to Brennan Johnson following a tough start to the season, having scored just twice so far.
Ex-Spurs right-back Alan Hutton spoke to Tottenham News about Richarlison:
“Spurs could possibly look to replace Richarlison if you’re talking about an out-and-out striker.
“Richarlison can go out wide, he can be very aggressive – there are times where he does give the ball away but he hunts it down, he tries to win it back.

“He has had opportunities that he probably should be scoring, and I think they’re the ones when your confidence probably isn’t as high as what you would like, they tend to maybe slip by the post or the keeper gets a touch on it.
“I still believe there’s a player in there but if this continues and he doesn’t reach the numbers that obviously they would like, then you might look at other options as well.”
In other Tottenham news, Ange Postecoglou has defended the players who returned to the fold during the defeat against Wolves.
