Postecoglou sack: ‘Disgrace’ verdict shared amid most likely Tottenham outcome
Tottenham supporters have been provided with the latest update on Ange Postecoglou’s future as a “disgrace” verdict is shared.
Postecoglou appears to be on thin ice at Tottenham after the North London side suffered their 15th Premier League defeat of the season on Sunday (16 March) as they were beaten 2-0 by Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The Australian clashed with a Spurs fan at full-time in West London, as tensions rise at Tottenham.
Supporters are clearly fed up with what they’re seeing, with a call being made for Son Heung-min to have his contract terminated after footage emerged from the defeat against Marco Silva’s side.
However, it looks as though Spurs fans might have to put up with Postecoglou a little while longer.

Postecoglou to remain at Tottenham
Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva are both options to replace Postecoglou at Tottenham.
Alternatively, Mauricio Pochettino could seal a sensational Spurs return. However, it doesn’t seem as though Postecoglou will be going anywhere for now.
Paul O Keefe, who is clearly not a fan of Postecoglou, with the reliable Spurs insider describing Tottenham’s form under the Australian as a “disgrace”, has shared an update on the 59-year-old’s future.
Premier League | Played | GD | Points |
13. Man United | 29 | -3 | 37 |
14. Tottenham | 29 | +12 | 34 |
15. Everton | 29 | -4 | 34 |
When asked by a supporter if Postecoglou would be sacked by Daniel Levy during the March international break, O Keefe responded via his personal X account (18 March), “I doubt it. He probably gets the Europa League and the season.
“However, in my opinion, if that happens he’s a very lucky man. In his last 38 league matches (equivalent to a whole season) he’s picked up 44 points. Injuries or not, Levy & Enic or not, that is a disgrace.”
Postecoglou needs to win the Europa League
Spurs have virtually nothing left to play for in the Premier League.
Therefore, it looks as though it is the Europa League or goodbye for Postecoglou. Qualifying for Europe via their league position looks as though it is going to be incredibly difficult for Tottenham.
As a result, if Spurs don’t end their 17-year trophy drought and lift the Europa League this season, the club won’t be competing in any European competition next season, which will surely be the final straw for Postecoglou.
