Postecoglou ‘infuriates Tottenham players’ as assistants step in
Ange Postecoglou is hanging on by a thread at Tottenham Hotspur, with his future very much in doubt.
Postecoglou’s only chance of salvaging something from this season will come in the Europa League, but even if Spurs win the competition, the Australian’s future will not be certain.
Spurs delivered a much-improved performance against Eintracht Frankfurt to reach the semi-finals, and they will back themselves to reach the final in Bilbao.
Despite the Tottenham players showing a lot of fight against Frankfurt, it does not appear that all of them are happy with Postecoglou.

Tottenham players unimpressed with Postecoglou
Postecoglou’s relationship with the Spurs fans is a poor one following several heated exchanges this season, but the players are reportedly not too fond of him either.
Journalist Duncan Castles has now told GIVEMESPORT that the Tottenham squad are unimpressed with Postecoglou’s methods.
Specifically, Postecoglou jetted off on holiday earlier in the season and his assistant had to fill in for him.
“I’ve been hearing some interesting stuff about Postecoglou’s relationship with the club and with the players over the past few months, and it’s not good,” he revealed.

“I mean, what I’m hearing out of that camp is that the players have been unimpressed with him for some time over various factors.
“For example, in October, he took a holiday and left the assistants to take training with the players while he took a rest for himself, incidents where he’s been throwing stuff around the dressing room and screaming at the players after bad results.”

Postecoglou must repair damage to save Spurs job
In recent months, Postecoglou has riled up Spurs fans against him with his words and antics, which saw him defiantly gesture to the travelling support as they were beaten by Chelsea.
His comments in the media also do not help him, with the Australian criticised after several harshly answered questions in recent months.
Winning the Europa League would be Postecoglou’s only chance of salvation, but even if he ends up staying, he will have to get the fans and players onside again if he is to last longer in the role.
Spurs have suffered a lot of injuries this season, and Postecoglou’s style has been highlighted as a reason behind this increase, and it appears that several players in the squad are no longer bought into his methods.
