Post Malone fans will have to wait before they see the American artist at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It was announced that Post Malone was to perform at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in February.

However, due to the scheduled tube strikes on 7 September and 8 September, the dates have been moved.

Post Malone at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: New dates and ticket refunds

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has played host to Thomas Frank’s side over the last few weeks, with a win and a loss for the North London club.

However, it was meant to be Post Malone’s turn to perform at Spurs’ home, following in the footsteps of Imagine Dragons and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Now, the singer’s shows have been moved to 20 September and 21 September because of the planned tube strikes.

Live Nation have stated that without a tube service, it is impossible to get concert goers to the event safely, meaning an event license could not be granted.

Tickets for the 7 September show will remain valid for 20 September, while tickets for 8 September are valid for 21 September.

Those who are no longer able to attend the rescheduled events must contact their point of purchase before 10am on 8 September to receive a full refund.

Refunds will be sent back to the payment method used and could take 14 to 21 days to process, depending on your bank.

Refunded tickets for Post Malone will go back on sale

While many will be frustrated that they can no longer attend the event, others can now benefit from the news.

That is because any tickets that are returned will be placed on general sale to the public via Ticketmaster on 9 September.

Like Post Malone, Coldplay were forced to reschedule their show at Wembley Stadium for the same reason.

It is advised that anyone still planning to travel to London this weekend checks their journey beforehand.
