PFA sends two-word message as 19-year-old leaves Tottenham

Tottenham have confirmed another exit as widespread changes continue in North London.

The Lilywhites look destined for a busy summer as a number of alterations appear to be in the pipeline at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

This has already seen Donna Cullen step down from her role after three decades, with Ange Postecoglou also strongly linked with an exit.

With that in mind, another departure has already been confirmed by Spurs, with the PFA sharing an instant reaction in N17.

PFA send message after new Tottenham exit

At this time of year, after the end of the season, player exits are always likely as contracts come to an end in North London.

This has already been showcased by Sergio Reguilon, Fraser Forster and Alfie Whiteman at the end of their deals with the Lilywhites.

These exits won’t necessarily have a telling impact on the first team, but that isn’t to say that academy departures won’t have the same effect.

Charlie Warren has already penned an emotional message at the end of his Spurs career, with Elliot Krasniqi now following him out of the door on Hotspur Way.

The Newham-born keeper was confirmed to be leaving on 1 June via Instagram as the N17 club wished him well for the future.

This was added to in the comments by the PFA, who added a simple “Good luck” message to the 20-year-old.

Elliot Krasniqi Tottenham departure confirmed

It is always disappointing to see young, local players leave so early in their development without being given a first-team opportunity.

With Postecoglou at the helm, there have been a large number of opportunities for youngsters, with Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall being the headline names.

Someone like Mikey Moore has also been given the opportunity to shine, while Krasniqi hasn’t quite reached those heights.

As a result, a departure does make sense for the shot-stopper with a move elsewhere, hopefully in the pipeline ahead of the new campaign.
