Pedro Porro sends message as Tottenham player suffers season-ending injury
Pedro Porro has offered his support for a fellow Tottenham player after season-ending injury news was confirmed.
Ange Postecoglou is facing the sack as a result of Spurs’ poor form in the Premier League this season.
However, in defence of the Australian, he has constantly been without a handful of key players due to a severe injury crisis in North London, which has brought the Tottenham medical staff into question.
Most of the first-team players at Spurs have spent a period on the sidelines at one point or another during the current campaign, with Dejan Kulusevski the latest to have picked up an injury.
And it appears as though even the Spurs players playing their football away from the club this season aren’t safe from the Tottenham injury curse.

Porro sends message to Tottenham loanee
Gil has been playing his football in Spain on loan with Girona this season. However, the Spurs forward recently underwent surgery, bringing his season to an end.
The winger posted a photo of himself via his official Instagram account on Thursday (20 March) after he had undergone his operation.
Cristian Romero sent a heartfelt message to Gil, and also among the many comments under the post was Porro, who wrote, “Come on brother, lots of encouragement, I have no doubt that you will come back stronger than ever. I love you, my boy”.
Tottenham | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Bryan Gil | 43 | 0 | 2 |
At one point is looked as if Gil could make his stay with Girona permanent. However, after this latest injury setback, that now seems unlikely.
Therefore, Spurs will need to figure out what they are going to do with the 24-year-old, who doesn’t seem to be in the plans in North London.
Gil faces an uncertain future at Tottenham
Postecoglou clearly isn’t an admirer of Gil, who hasn’t been offered any opportunities since the 59-year-old arrived at Tottenham.
However, a new manager could perhaps offer the forward a chance if Postecoglou is sacked.
Whatever happens, it appears as though Gil faces an uncertain future, with a transfer exit in the summer now unlikely as he looks to spend the next few months in rehabilitation.
