Mikey Moore sends message to Will Lankshear after what Tottenham loan star did

Mikey Moore continues to support Will Lankshear, although the striker is away from Tottenham.

Lankshear had his breakthrough at Spurs earlier this season, making his first-team debut in their 2-1 UEFA Europa League win against Ferencvaros in October.

The centre-forward went on to make six appearances for Ange Postecoglou’s side, but joined West Brom on loan in the January transfer window to gain more first-team experience.

However, he has had to bide his time at The Hawthorns, with Tony Mowbray limiting him to just 237 minutes of playing time so far at The Hawthorns.

Moore sends one-word message to Lankshear after West Brom win v Watford

Lankshear was handled only his second start for West Brom against Watford at The Hawthorns on Saturday (12 April) and made sure he made a positive impression, helping them to a 2-1 win, their first in six games.

The Tottenham loanee missed the chance to get his name on the scoresheet, but excelled in every other aspect of the game.

He was so impressive that the West Brom fans gave him a standing ovation when he was replaced by Adam Armstrong in the 74th minute.

The 19-year-old later took to social media (12 April) to express his joy at being involved in the victory over Watford, referencing Romans 8:18, the Biblical line that talks about present suffering and future glory.

Moore was quick to respond to the post, tipping his hat to his Spurs teammate by simply writing, “Player”.

Tyrese Hall and Alfie Dorrington also showed their support for Lankshear after his impressive performance for West Brom.

Lankshear has bright future at Tottenham

It is evident that Tottenham rate Lankshear highly and are hoping for him to have a bright future in North London.

Spurs, though, would have liked the teenager to play more often for West Brom than he has so far, but there is no denying that the loan stint will help him regardless.

It would be wise for the Premier League club to send Lankshear on a season-long loan when he returns from West Brom in the summer.
