Mbeumo ‘to snub Man Utd offer to sign for Tottenham’ after Frank talks
Thomas Frank could help Tottenham make a last-gasp swoop for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.
Deliberations on Ange Postecoglou’s future have prevented Tottenham from kicking on with their transfer business.
However, it was now been confirmed that Postecoglou has been sacked, with Frank emerging as the leading candidate to replace the Australian.
As a result, Manchester United will be looking over their shoulders in the hunt for Mbeumo.

As reported by David Ornstein via X on Monday (2 June), Mbeumo has decided on a move to United, despite interest from Tottenham.
The Cameroonian star had an incredible season for Brentford, where he racked up 29 goal involvements in 42 appearances.

It has been widely reported that Frank has held talks about the now-vacant managerial position at Tottenham, and if United don’t agree a deal for Mbeumo soon, there is every chance the 25-year-old will be tempted to follow his current manager to North London.

The right winger has often had games where he has been unable to affect the match and has been substituted as a result.
Not only is Mbeumo a high-volume goalscorer, but his off-the-ball movement, activity around the box, and passing range allow him to be a constant goal threat.
He would form a nice partnership with Pedro Porro as a result, who, despite playing at right-back, has been Spurs’ main attacking threat on the wing.
