Levy told to sanction Richarlison swap with Everton after Tottenham bombshell
Daniel Levy has been urged by Tottenham fans to consider sending Richarlison back to Everton in exchange for Jarrad Branthwaite.
The Mail on Sunday reported via its print edition on 29 December (page 89) that Spurs are eager to strengthen in the heart of defence due to a mounting injury crisis.
Branthwaite has been mentioned as a possible January signing, with Everton talks said to have already started, and it is a transfer link that has gone down well among the Spurs fanbase.
One supporter posted on X that “Spurs should swap Richy and 20m for Branthwaite”, while another listed Branthwaite as one of five players the Lilywhites should be targeting in 2025.
Another pointed out that Branthwaite is a better choice than Fikayo Tomori at AC Milan, and another named the Everton defender as the one player he wants the North London outfit to move for in January.

Tottenham are down to the bear bones at the back and are on a poor run of form, having taken just one point from the past nine on offer to slip to 11th in the Premier League.
The January transfer window, which officially opens on Wednesday (1 January), provides Levy with a chance to bolster Ange Postecoglou’s options.
Brighton and Hove Albion’s Evan Ferguson is another player touted as a possible target for Spurs [Miguel Delaney, 31 December].
In other Tottenham news, Spurs have been told to sign a Juventus player.
