Leeds make announcement involving Tottenham loan star Manor Solomon

Tottenham attacker Manor Solomon joined Leeds United on a season-long loan in the summer transfer window.

The Israel international has enjoyed his time in West Yorkshire as he’s been a key part of Daniel Farke’s first team.

The 25-year-old’s arrival has helped the Whites in their push for promotion as they find themselves in first place, five points clear at the top of the Championship standings.

Leeds United condemn the anti-Palestine chant directed at Manor Solomon

The second-tier outfit condemned the anti-Palestine chant which was directed towards the winger earlier and have felt the need to do it again.

Via their official website on 14 February, Leeds called out the behaviour coming from the Norman Hunter South Stand, particularly in blocks FA5, FA6, SS5, SS6.

This comes after the club received a number of complaints from their own supporters regarding the chant at Solomon and hoped that condemning it through local and national media would work.

However, as it did not, they felt the need to release an official statement.

They have also confirmed that there will now be increased CCTV surveillance as well as stewarding presence in the aforementioned stands until the end of the season.

Tottenham may consider integrating Manor Solomon into the first-team squad next season

Solomon’s performance during his loan at Elland Road has been notably impressive, with seven goals and seven assists in just 25 league games.

This output not only showcases his versatility and effectiveness in the Championship but also underlines his potential utility in the Premier League.

For Spurs, having the Israel international back as a backup bench option next season seems like a strategic move.

His ability to play on either wing provides tactical flexibility, which is invaluable for squad depth, especially in a season where injuries or suspensions can significantly impact team performance.

Solomon’s flair and creativity could add competition to their wing positions, pushing the first-team players to perform consistently if he does not end up moving to Elland Road permanently.

Furthermore, his familiarity with the Premier League through previous appearances would mean less adaptation time, allowing him to contribute immediately when called upon.

Given his age and development trajectory, keeping the 25-year-old could also be seen as an investment in the future, potentially increasing his market value or even securing him as a long-term squad member.
