Kulusevski reacts as Tottenham injury update emerges on Instagram

Dejan Kulusevski has reacted after Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario shared an injury update on Instagram.

Vicario – who is perhaps feeling the pressure after Antonín Kinský’s start to life at Spurs – shared a series of images of himself back in training via his personal Instagram account on Saturday (11 January).

Alongside the pictures, the Italian – who is expected to return to action in February – wrote, “Being on the sidelines and not being able to help my teammates has been hard.

“Happy to be back on the training pitch and looking forward to being back with the boys. Thank you for all the support”.

And among the many likes were Vicario’s teammates Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke.

Pictures of Vicario back on the grass might lead a few to believe that the shot-stopper could return to action before February.

With almost three weeks of January left, the 28-year-old might be targeting a return before the end of the month. However, Spurs and Ange Postecoglou will be careful not to rush the goalkeeper back.

Now that they have Kinský through the door, there is less of a need for Vicario to make a quick return.

However, that is exactly what might be concerning the Spurs number one and encouraging him to work even harder to get back on the pitch.

Before his injury, there was no question that he was the main man between the sticks in North London. However, a few supporters might be thinking differently now.

Therefore, Vicario will be keen to return and remind everyone of his quality.
