Jude Bellingham sends message to ‘absolutely gutted’ Tottenham star
Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham has sent a special message after Tottenham advanced to the Europa League final.
Ange Postecoglou’s side has reached the sixth European final of the North London club’s history after a 2-0 victory against Bodo/Glimt away in the Europa League semi-final second leg.
After conceding in the final minutes of the first leg, narrowing their three-goal lead, the pressure was on for Spurs, who were warned of Bodo/Glimt’s difficult terrain ahead of time.
Following a historic evening, Spurs will be looking to win their first trophy in 17 years, but one important player has needed a few words of encouragement in the run-up.

Bellingham sends encouraging message to James Maddison
James Maddison is expecting to be sidelined for the rest of the season and even the beginning of the next after leaving the pitch injured during the first leg.
Reacting to Spurs reaching the final, the midfielder admitted on Instagram he was “absolutely gutted” to miss the trip.

The post garnered a lot of traction and well wishes from his teammates, new and old, began to pour in.
One of these messages came from fellow Englishman and international teammate, Bellingham, who wrote: “Get well soon, Sheriff.”
Spurs still can win the final despite Maddison’s absence
The Europa League final (21 May) against Premier League side Manchester United will be Spurs’ main focus over the next couple of weeks.
Leading up to the second leg of the semi-finals, there were doubts about how the North London side would manage without their midfield maestro.
Despite his absence, Tottenham put on an impressive defensive display at the Aspmyra Stadium with stand-out performances from Cristian Romero and Pedro Porro.
Goals from Dominic Solanke and Porro demonstrated that Spurs are more than capable of creating chances without their main creator.
With the days until the Europa League final ticking down, a win would grant Tottenham more than a trophy, but the possibility of Postecoglou continuing at the North London club, after concerns over his future.
Still, facing a Manchester side Tottenham have beaten three times already this season and with silverware on the line, this Spurs side may truly shock the world with a victory in the coming weeks.
