Jonathan David medical booked for transfer after Tottenham news
Jonathan David has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham this summer.
As of right now, Tottenham have still only confirmed one summer arrival, with Mathys Tel joining on a permanent deal from Bayern Munich.
Despite the second week in July nearly being upon us, and the desperate need for additions after a wretched domestic campaign last time out, Spurs haven’t taken advantage of the summer window.
However, one player to have been linked recently has been David, whose exit from Lille was confirmed in June, with a medical now booked in for his next move.

Daniel Levy stumbles again as David set for move
Tottenham finished 17th last season, and if they are to avoid a similar fate under Thomas Frank this season, they need to recruit well, and so far, the signs are not looking good.
Having looked as though they have already missed out on the signing of Bryan Mbuemo, and with Ebe Eze seemingly preferring a move to Arsenal, each day brings a new failed target, and today is no different.

That is because Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Canadian international David is set to undergo a medical in Turin, ahead of a move to Serie A giants Juventus.
Given the fact that he is on a free transfer, it would have been an excellent addition for Spurs, though it seems as though it will be yet another story of one that got away.
Tottenham failing to make the most of summer window
The new campaign is still some time away, but the lack of activity in North London is starting to get concerning.
If Frank is going to succeed, Levy needs to back him in the market, and as of yet, he has failed to do so.
That has been the story with many of the recent failed Tottenham managers, many of whom found immediate success after their exit.
Only time will tell if that will change in the coming weeks.
