Tottenham ace Maddison responds to Eric Dier Bayern Munich message
Tottenham ace James Maddison will be unable to help the North Londoners in their quest to win the Europa League thanks to a season-ending injury.
But former Spurs duo Harry Kane and Eric Dier have clinched silverware this term, winning the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich.
Kane has notched a remarkable return of 25 goals and seven assists in 30 Bundesliga outings, while Dier has also played his part in Bayern’s title success, making 20 top-flight appearances.
The former Tottenham defender scored for Vincent Kompany’s men in a 3-0 win over Mainz on 26 April and a 3-3 draw with Leipzig on 3 May, ensuring that Bayer Leverkusen could not catch the Bavarian giants in the Bundesliga title race.

Dier made over 360 appearances for Spurs before joining Bundesliga giants Bayern in 2024, which proved to be a fruitful move for his career.
Bayern lifted the Bundesliga trophy on Saturday (10 May) after a 2-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach, which Dier celebrated by posting “Deutscher Meister” (German Champion) on Instagram.
Maddison responded with a smiling face with hearts emoji as well as a heart-shaped eyes emoji.
Maddison injury could be detrimental to Tottenham’s Europa League chances
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium outfit have endured a largely poor Premier League campaign, and are set to finish in the bottom half.

But Maddison has been one of the best players for Ange Postecoglou’s men in the top-flight this term, notching nine goals and seven assists in 31 league appearances.
The Englishman has also played a key role in Tottenham’s successful run to the Europa League final, scoring three goals and creating three assists in 11 European outings.
Maddison has often been a talisman for Postecoglou’s side this term, as displayed by his goal in the Europa League semi-final first-leg triumph over Bodo/Glimt.
The 28-year-old also scored in a vital last-16 second-leg win over Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar before creating an assist against Frankfurt in the quarter-finals.
Spurs will be desperate to triumph over Manchester United in the Europa League final on 21 May, but doing so without Maddison’s services could prove tough.
