James Maddison sends message as Tottenham exit announced
Tottenham have a lot of work to do when it comes to securing exits this summer.
While most of the focus so far this summer has been on incomings at Tottenham, plenty will have also been diverted to the future of those currently residing in North London.
A whole host of players have been mooted for an exit from Spurs, including midfielder James Maddison, who came in for a lot of criticism last season.
The 28-year-old has since sent a message via Instagram after a new transfer announcement was made.

Mikey Moore announces Tottenham loan exit
Mikey Moore burst onto the scene for Spurs last season, but the Lilywhites’ struggles domestically led to very limited game time for the teenager.
As a result, it seemed quite apparent that Tottenham would seek a loan move for the talented winger, who has since joined Scottish Premiership side Rangers for the upcoming season.
Season | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes Played |
2024/25 | 19 | 1 | 2 | 812′ |
Moore took to Instagram (1 August) to express his excitement at joining his new club, with Maddsion sending a message to the youngster by replying to the post.
His message reads: “Good luck, brother”, followed by a heart emoji.

Could Moore thrive on loan at Rangers?
Ultimately, for Moore, the main thing this summer was to ensure that he would have regular exposure to first-team football, and there is a high chance he will get that in Glasgow.
Rangers will feature in the UEFA Champions League, which will do wonders for his development, and will star in a pressurised environment as the Light Blues look to beat Celtic to the league title for the first time since Steven Gerrard departed the club.
The hope will be that Moore features regularly and continues his development, and can return to Spurs for the following campaign with a point to prove.
