Ipswich Town v Tottenham result predicted by supercomputer
Tottenham Hotspur head to Ipswich Town on Saturday looking to make it three Premier League wins in a row for the first time this season.
Ange Postecoglou’s side are on the road to recovery after a horror run of just one victory in 11 matches – including a four-game losing streak – but face a tough task against Ipswich at Portman Road.
The Tractor Boys have already beaten Spurs this season, recording a 2-1 victory in November to claim their first Premier League win in over 22 years, and Postecoglou will be cautious to avoid another upset.
That November victory, however, was the first of just three recorded by Ipswich so far this term and they’re winless in their last six, including home defeats to Brighton, Manchester City and Southampton.

Tottenham head to Suffolk with a chance to move within four points of tenth-placed Brighton, having fallen into the bottom half of the Premier League table amid their dismal run of recent form.
Having recovered with back-to-back wins, Postecoglou’s side are being back to win Saturday’s match at Portman road by the Opta Analyst (21 February), who rate them at a 48.5 per cent chance of victory.
Ipswich, meanwhile, sit at 27.2 per cent, and with the draw rated at just 24.3 per cent, it’s clear that Spurs are the heavy favourites to come away from East Anglia with all three points.

Postecoglou must avoid previous mistakes for Tottenham v Ipswich
Spurs 2-1 loss to Ipswich at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November wasn’t their first of the season, or the first at home, but it was the first of several signs that the Lilywhites were in for a tough campaign.
Some of Tottenham’s defending against the Tractor Boys left a lot to be desired as they completely switched off for Ipswich’s two sucker-punch goals – scored within 12 first-half minutes of each other.

Cristian Romero was even called out for his haplessness at the back as Spurs really began to feel the sting of life without Micky van de Ven, and their flying Dutchman still won’t be back in time for Saturday.
Dominic Solanke also remains absent after his profligacy in front of goal proved costly for Tottenham in November’s reverse fixture, with Postecoglou welcoming several other key names back from injury.
Postecoglou is expected to make at least two changes ahead of what’s being pitched as a must-win clash for the Australian, but improvement is still needed at both ends to prevent history repeating itself.
