Hugo Lloris makes ‘Amazing’ Daniel Levy claim from inside Tottenham
Hugo Lloris has made an amazing claim about under-fire Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Fans have protested against Levy at Spurs after what has been another underwhelming season in N17.
Ange Postecoglou has struggled at the North London outfit in the current campaign, being knocked out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
The Australian manager hasn’t been helped by the injuries in his squad, and Levy’s seeming reluctance to spend money until late in the winter transfer window was surprising.

Levy backed by Lloris at Tottenham
Lloris has backed Levy for his work at the Lilywhites over the years.
The Los Angeles FC goalkeeper has shown full support for the 63-year-old after having a first-hand look at what has happened inside the North London outfit.
Lloris believes Levy has taken Spurs to the top and turned them into one of the best clubs in the world.
Speaking via the print edition of the Daily Mirror (26 February, page 54), the former Lilywhites goalkeeper said: “Daniel has my support.
“I know from inside all the really good things that he has done. He took the club at one level, and he brought it to an amazing level. Tottenham now belong in the group of the best clubs in the world.”

Spurs have stagnated under Levy
Supporters have every right to express their discontent regarding Levy at Spurs after failing to win a trophy for 17 years.
The North London outfit looks unlikely to be successful this season either, as the Europa League is the only shot at silverware they have.
Postecoglou’s chances of winning the Europa League aren’t the best, considering the quality of teams still alive in the competition.
The Lilywhites will face AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the round of 16 on 6 March away from home before hosting them on 13 March in the second leg.
Europa League table (2024/25) | Points |
1. Lazio | 19 |
2. Athletic Club | 19 |
3. Manchester United | 18 |
4. Tottenham | 17 |
If Spurs can get past the Dutch outfit, they may have to contend with the likes of Lazio, Athletic Club, Manchester United and Real Sociedad in the later rounds.
In the winter window, it was clearly evident that the North London outfit needed to reinforce their squad, but Levy waited until the final moments to sign outfield players for the Australian manager.
Postecoglou has had to rely on Archie Gray in his backline over the last few months, highlighting the inadequacy of the Lilywhites’ recruitment.
Spurs signed Mathys Tel on loan from Bayern Munich on Deadline Day, but they could have arguably done better than the 19-year-old, showcasing the chairman’s lack of ambition.
