Harry Kane convinced he can win the Champions League by leaving Tottenham for Bayern Munich – report

Tottenham star Harry Kane believes he can win the Champions League by joining Bayern Munich this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Sky Sports Germany reporter claims the England captain has made it clear he only wants to join Bayern and is not considering offers from any other clubs abroad.

Plettenberg said Kane has an agreement in place with the Bundesliga outfit and is “convinced” the Munich club and Thomas Tuchel can help him taste European glory.

Blow

This is a massive blow to Spurs’ hopes of keeping hold of their prize asset, with the reports suggesting that the 29-year-old seems pretty set on a move to Bayern.

It comes as no surprise, though, as the Tottenham hierarchy have very little in their favour to try and tempt Kane to stay and the lack of European football is huge.

There is no way Daniel Levy will want to let him leave for another Premier League rival this summer, so if he can get a deal he believes is close to the right value for the forward, then he could be tempted to let him go.

Tottenham's Daniel Levy

It’s quite clear that Kane has given his absolute all for the club over a number of years and he deserves to be competing for major honours every season – something this move would provide him with.

It would be difficult for all those associated with Spurs to see him leave, but it could be the best option to ensure he doesn’t come back to haunt the club any time soon and so they do receive a substantial fee for him.

In other Tottenham news, the club are tracking an England international midfielder.
