Frank told live on air to let go of ‘liability’ at Tottenham in mass overhaul
Thomas Frank will be keen to make additions to his Tottenham squad this summer, but there will be plenty of eyes on the exit door too.
Tottenham have already been linked with Bryan Mbeumo, who could follow Frank to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, Ange Postecoglou’s exit may also have rocked the boat, and if the new boss wants to see improvement in North London, he will have to offload some faces too.

Danny Murphy tells Frank who to let go at Tottenham
As much as there needs to be reinforcements at Tottenham this summer, Frank also needs to put his stamp on his new squad to show the start of a new era.
With the demands of both the Premier League and Champions League football, too, there is a big challenge that lies ahead for the Lilywhites and the team needs to be able to cope.
The likes of Cristian Romero are already looking towards the exit door, with Atletico Madrid having an interest in his services.
The centre-back has made clear how he feels about the managerial changes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, too.
However, Danny Murphy thinks this would be fine for Frank and has urged the Danish manager to go for a radical change.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (18 June, 10:44am), he said: “[Frank] probably needs a few gone.
“Romero’s making a few noises. I like him, but he’s a bit of a liability. He could maybe go to Atletico. If he doesn’t really want to be [at Tottenham], then let him go.
“Son, who I think’s been brilliant, has had his day at the club.
“Then there’s [Rodrigo] Bentancur, who’s a brilliant footballer, but has he got the legs or the energy that Thomas Frank wants in the middle of the park?
“You need to bring in some fresh players.”
Frank needs radical change at Tottenham
Daniel Levy was clearly unhappy with the way things panned out at Tottenham last season, but if he wants to see a change, then he must be prepared to back the new appointment in creating that.

As Murphy points out, rooting out the players who don’t have a future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is just as key as bringing new faces in to ensure there is harmony in the dressing room next term.
There are certainly some difficult calls ahead for the new manager and the disappointment of supporters will be heard if these calls do not pay off.
If Spurs can cash in on the likes of Romero and Son, who is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, this could give Levy the funds he needs to support change in north London.
