Footage shows what Son Heung-min and Richarlison did when they reunited in huge South Korea vs Brazil result
Son Heung-min and Richarlison’s relationship was based on mutual respect while the South Korean was at Tottenham.
Son departed Tottenham for LAFC over the summer after almost a decade in North London.
Meanwhile, Richarlison started the season well for Spurs, but his form has dipped in recent weeks. In fact, it has been suggested that Tottenham made a mistake letting Son leave, who has been exceptional in the MLS.
But with the former Lilywhites captain still etched in fans’ hearts, his reunion with the Brazilian will have piqued the interest of supporters.

Son Heung-min and Richarlison share friendly embrace
Richarlison was one of 16 Tottenham players to be called up for international duty over the October break.
His first game for Brazil was a triumphant one where the South American side secured a 5-0 victory over South Korea.
The Brazilian started on the bench while Son captained his side. But despite the scoreline, the most exciting moment of the confrontation for both was arguably their reunion before the first whistle was blown.
In footage posted by a fan via X on 10 October, Son can be seen running up to his former teammate, who pulls him into a hug before both head down the tunnel together.
While the two may have been rivals on the pitch, it is clear they still have a lot of love and respect for one another.

Richarlison may not be the problem at Tottenham
After his drop off in form, there have already been claims that Dominic Solanke is better than Richarlison as fans eagerly await his return to the pitch.
However, the Brazilian’s recent performances may be more of a reflection of the team’s display, according to statistics from Sofascore.
- Richarlison has netted ever 151 minutes in the league
- He has scored three goals from 1.68 per 90 in expected goals
- His goal conversion rate is 20 per cent and he has missed just one big chance
The stats are damning. The fact that Richarlison is overperforming his expected goals by one and a half goals indicates that the chances he’s scoring are not high-quality ones.
Furthermore, he has made seven appearances in the Premier League and has started five games, only to miss one big chance with a high conversion rate.
It is clear that while Richarlison still has scoring boots on, he is playing on a team that lacks creative output.
As a result, Tottenham fans should be looking at his teammates as well as the Brazilian when trying to find answers for his recent form.
