Ex-West Ham player among favourites to replace Thomas Frank after Tottenham latest
Thomas Frank has enjoyed a much-needed positive week at Tottenham.
Many believe Frank was close to the sack at Tottenham as early as last week, after heavy defeats against Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite that, the Dane has turned things around with two heavy Tottenham wins against Brentford and Slavia Prague, keeping clean sheets in the process.
With the Tottenham board said to be seriously considering Xavi at the end of November, an upturn in form in the busy Christmas period is desperately needed for Frank.

Michael Carrick among favourites at Tottenham
Michael Carrick was in the running for the Tottenham role back in the summer, after losing his job at Middlesbrough.
Frank was appointed after Ange Postecoglou was sacked, although things haven’t all been sunshine and rainbows since.
Ironically, Carrick is still among the favourites to take over again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, if he is required in the coming weeks and months.

Major bookmakers have Carrick at odds of 12/1 to take over.
Only Oliver Glasner, Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva are at higher odds, as things stand.

Carrick at Tottenham and West Ham in numbers
Carrick is most known for his huge spell at Manchester United, where he won it all, but he was forged in different quarters of London.
Starting at West Ham United, the English maestro made 154 appearances at Upton Park, scoring six goals and adding only five assists.
Despite playing many fewer games at Spurs, 75 in total before moving to Old Trafford, he was actually involved in more goals.

Carrick only scored twice, but managed to add 11 assists as he really transformed his game into that play-making central midfield option that shone under Sir Alex Ferguson.
As for the Tottenham job, after failing to earn promotion with Boro to the Premier League, many would much prefer the other names in the running to take over should Frank be sacked.
For now, he appears safe.
