Dominic Solanke reacts as Bukayo Saka shares huge Arsenal development
Dominic Solanke’s reaction to a recent Bukayo Saka development at Arsenal might not go down too well with Tottenham supporters.
Tottenham and Arsenal are, without a doubt, each other’s biggest rivals.
Over the past couple of seasons, the Gunners have been consistently finishing much higher than Tottenham and haven’t lost against their North London rivals since 2022.
Therefore, Spurs supporters are unlikely to be too happy about this, considering the fierce nature of the rivalry between the two sets of fans.
Djed Spence recently mocked one Arsenal star, and this would have no doubt pleased some supporters on the white side of North London. However, it appears as though Solanke has decided to go down a different route.

Solanke shows support for Saka at Arsenal
Solanke joined Tottenham from Bournemouth last summer in a £65million deal.
His form at Spurs has seen him return to the England setup, although Spurs supporters were left furious with Thomas Tuchel after Solanke didn’t receive any minutes during the March international break.
Tottenham 2024/25 | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Dominic Solanke | 33 | 11 | 8 |
However, this didn’t seem to upset the striker, as he showed his support for Aston Villa and England star Ezri Konsa.
And he has now offered his support once again to a fellow England star after Saka shared a huge development at Arsenal.
The winger, who hasn’t played since December after suffering a hamstring injury, posted a photo of himself back in training with Arsenal via his official Instagram account on Thursday (27 March).
And Solanke was one of the hundreds of thousands of people to like the post.
Solanke still has lessons to learn at Tottenham
Solanke and Saka are likely friends off the field. Therefore, nobody should begrudge the Spurs man for showing his support for a fellow professional returning from an injury.
However, perhaps he could’ve just sent a message privately rather than liked Saka’s post publically, as this isn’t likely to go down well among Tottenham fans.
