Dejan Kulusevski spotted on flight to Barcelona as major Tottenham worries continue
Dejan Kulusevski is still out of action for Tottenham and the latest update will do little to raise hopes of an imminent return.
Kulusevski suffered a knee injury during Spurs’ Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace at the end of last season.
The Swedish international had to undergo surgery on the issue and missed out on Tottenham’s Europa League triumph over Manchester United in Bilbao.
However, almost nine months on from the original injury, there is still no word on a potential return date for Kulusevski.

Dejan Kulusevski spotted on flight to Spain
Speaking after the defeat to Palace last May, former Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou said that Kulusevski had just suffered a “knock” and still had a chance of playing in the Europa League final.
The Australian’s prediction was clearly wide of the mark, but even after it was confirmed that the attacker needed surgery, nobody would’ve expected the extremely long lay-off that has followed.
On Tuesday morning, Kulusevski was pictured on a flight to Barcelona, as the rest of his teammates prepare for a crucial Champions League clash away at Frankfurt.
According to Scouts in Attendance, the 25-year-old could be on his way to see Dr Ramon Cugat, who specialises in treating knee injuries.
Dr Cugat has treated the likes of Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Fernando Torres, and Kevin de Bruyne in the past, and may now be helping Kulusevski back to fitness.

Dejan Kulusevski’s knee injury still a mystery
Thomas Frank is under huge pressure at Tottenham, but the injury crisis in North London is doing little to help the Dane.
Along with Kulusevski, Spurs are currently without James Maddison, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Bergvall, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Ben Davies, all of who are confined to the treatment room.
The Swede is arguably the most important absentee, given what he brings to the Tottenham team, and it has been a big blow for Frank to be without him for so long.
Earlier this month, the Spurs boss revealed that Kulusevski was still suffering from pain in his knee, which means his return date is a complete mystery.
The former Juventus man has clearly had multiple setbacks on the road to recovery, and the lack of information from the club regarding his injury hints that there are still problems to be solved.
