Daniel Levy’s close allies reveal Tottenham decision on Postecoglou sack
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy doesn’t appear to be certain about the future of Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian oversaw a record number of defeats in the Premier League as the Lilywhites fell to 17th, just one place off the relegation spots.
With that being said, Spurs fans won’t remember these failings after the Australian lifted the Europa League with a 1-0 win against Manchester United in Bilbao.
Regardless of this achievement, Levy is seemingly still mulling over a decision on Postecoglou moving into the summer window in North London.

Levy shares Postecoglou Tottenham sack verdict to allies
There is a potential sack currently looming over the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with clarity not yet secured for fans in N17.
This comes as the chairman seems to be uncertain about what he wants from his side moving into the new season.
There is no doubt that many fans want Postecoglou to stay after his success on the continent, becoming an instant icon in the process.
Despite this, Levy did little but thank the ex-Celtic man in his end-of-season message, which may point toward tension between the pair.
As a result, a report from Matt Barlow in the Daily Mail (30 May, page 72) comes as little surprise for the Lilywhites.
This suggested that Levy is taking time to consider the future of Postecoglou, as those close to the chairman expected him to reluctantly back the Australian after the Europa League success.
With every day that passes, Barlow has reported that the 63-year-old is leaning more towards a change in the dugout as alternatives have been sounded out in N17.

Levy eyes Postecoglou replacements at Tottenham
It looks as if a new head coach could be naming his first Spurs side when the new Premier League season rolls around in August.
Regardless of the European title win, it appears that domestic failings are going to let Postecoglou down in the coming weeks.
Position | Club | Goal difference | Points |
17. | Tottenham | -1 | 38 |
18. | Ipswich Town | -47 | 25 |
19. | Leicester City | -46 | 22 |
20. | Southampton | -60 | 12 |
As a result, someone like Thomas Frank may be assessed after years of success at Brentford, whether he would join the Lilywhites’ chaos is another question.
Similar questions will be asked of Andoni Iraola, but whatever happens, Levy will have to live and die by his decision surrounding the current manager.
