Daniel Levy obstacle removed for £56.7m Harry Kane transfer at Tottenham as wage details emerges
Thomas Frank has enjoyed a positive start to life at Tottenham with four clean-sheet victories.
A massive summer of change took place this year when Daniel Levy decided to sack Ange Postecoglou and replace him with Frank.
This was followed by the resignation of Levy himself, which came as a nice surprise to many.
More importantly, following Levy’s resignation, Tottenham fans will be delighted to know that Harry Kane is now more likely than ever to rejoin his beloved Lilywhites.
Spurs are front-runners to sign Kane, and further details have been revealed on what it would take to bring their all-time goalscorer back to North London from Bayern Munich.

Tottenham may have to match Harry Kane’s hefty wage fee
Kane has produced memorable moments for Tottenham over the years, but does the past justify matching his wage at Bayern Munich?
The Daily Mail has reported in its print edition (24 September, pg 64) that Kane and his family have a healthy relationship with the Lewis family, who are now driving forces in the boardroom since Levy’s departure.
With a £56.7million release clause in his Bayern contract, the obstacle of Levy has been removed to put Spurs one step closer to a huge reunion.
However, Kane is thought to be earning more than £400,000-a-week, which is said to be double that of the top earner at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
If this season is anything to go by, Kane is still the same deadly striker he was in his Spurs days, if not better.

Kane would be a perfect fit for Frank at Tottenham
At 32, Kane seems to only be getting better year on year and has started the 25/26 season with a bang.
Historically, Frank has always had success with a physical presence up top like Ivan Toney. Kane would fit perfectly into that system, particularly when dropping deep as he so often does to link-up play.
Opponent | Goals and Assists | Rating |
Hoffenheim | 3 Goals | 9.6 |
Chelsea | 2 Goals | 9.4 |
Hamburger SV | 2 Goals & 1 Assist | 9.4 |
Kane wouldn’t come cheap, but it would be a huge sign of ambition if the Lilywhites managed to lure the England captain back to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Next up for Spurs is their third-round game against Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, with some already distracted by the mere thought of Kane returning.
