Daniel Levy makes Postecoglou sack decision at Tottenham

Daniel Levy is understood to have made a decision on the future of Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham are in for a very busy summer, and right at the top of the list of priorities will be the future of Postecoglou.

Despite winning the Europa League, the feeling is that Tottenham are still going to sack Postecoglou, with his shortcomings in the Premier League a big reason behind that.

However, up until now, all of this has been speculation, but it is now claimed that Levy has made an official decision.

Postecoglou sack could be announced imminently

Tottenham have already held talks with Thomas Frank among several other managers with hopes of progressing next season, though there remains a long list of candidates to take over at Spurs.

Levy will undoubtedly want this uncertainty to end soon, otherwise, Tottenham are wasting valuable time in the summer transfer window, with a lot of work to be done.

However, according to Paul O’Keefe, Levy has now made a decision on Postecoglou‘s future, though the outcome of that is yet to be communicated to those behind the scenes in North London.

Various outlets have reported that Spurs have decided to sack Postecoglou, which, if true, could see an announcement made immediately.

Tottenham need to make a change

Postecoglou ultimately faces a lose-lose situation this summer, regardless of what happens in the coming days and weeks.

Should he keep the job, the pressure will remain on his shoulders, and if he succumbs to the sack, his time as Tottenham manager is over.

That is the pressure that Levy will face just as much, knowing that he will be in the spotlight no matter what the decision is.

To finish 17th in the Premier League is shocking, and if Postecoglou’s time is indeed up, he will only have himself to blame for that.

While inquiries have played a part in the league campaign, his unwillingness to adapt to the situation ultimately led to Spurs losing 22 times in the league.

All eyes will be on North London now, as fans wait for the decision to be cleared up.
