Daniel Levy holds private talks as sources issue huge Tottenham update

Tottenham are in the midst of an overhaul behind the scenes and Daniel Levy is playing a key role in it.

While no decision has been made on Ange Postecoglou’s future, change could be imminent at the North London club.

Currently, the sole focus is to win the Europa League and then make decisions ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Fabio Paratici holds private talks with Levy over Tottenham return

Fabio Paratici has been linked with a return to Tottenham and that’s something Levy is on board with.

TBR Football report that with Spurs entering the race to sign him, talks over a move to AC Milan have slowed down.

Sources claim that Levy is working hard to get the Italian to return to the London outfit once again.

Last week, the Lilywhites chairman and Paratici held talks, with the former asking the latter to finish what he started.

It’s understood that if he does return, he will take control of the operations much like he did previously.

Spurs could benefit a great deal from Paratici’s return

Paratici’s potential return to Tottenham could be a game-changer for the club, given his proven track record during his previous stint.

From 2021 to 2023, Paratici, as managing director of football, orchestrated several impactful signings that bolstered Spurs’ squad, most notably Cristian Romero, who has since become one of Europe’s top defenders and a target for Real Madrid, and Dejan Kulusevski, a versatile attacker who has thrived in midfield roles.

His acquisition of Rodrigo Bentancur also proved pivotal in Tottenham’s top-four finish in the 2021-22 Premier League season, showcasing his knack for identifying talent that fits the club’s needs.

Paratici’s deep football knowledge and extensive network, honed during his successful tenure at Juventus, would bring stability and vision to Tottenham’s recruitment strategy, which has been inconsistent since his departure.

With Levy eager for him to complete the unfinished business, Paratici’s return could reinvigorate Spurs’ ambitions by ensuring smarter transfers and a cohesive long-term plan for the 2025-26 season and beyond.
