Daniel Levy exit claim emerges as Tottenham investment warning made
Glenn Hoddle has sent a message to Daniel Levy about investment into Tottenham given the anger among the fanbase.
Given the recent supporters’ protest directed at the chairman, Hoddle believes that the time for him to act is now.
The fans’ fury is directed at the club’s lack of success on the pitch despite them being successful in terms of their financial planning.

Spurs fans unlikely to see Daniel Levy leave any time soon
Hoddle does not see there being a scenario in place to get Levy out of the club right away.
Along with being the chairman and the main decision maker, he’s also got a stake in Spurs and he benefits from them doing well financially.
This is why for years he was content with regular Champions League place finishes without any push for titles.
Speaking about Levy’s future and what he needs to do, Hoddle told Football London: “I don’t think it’s a scenario to get Daniel Levy out at the moment.
“What I would say is that the problem with building a stadium, which is a magnificent stadium, to get the training ground built which any player in the world would want to be in that environment, now there’s two aspects to it.
“The emphasis for me has got to be, 100 per cent, 110 per cent, the squad. Build a squad that justifies the stadium. For me, it should be the other way around. You build the squad and then many build the stadium.
“It’s gone this way round, I think that’s why Spurs fans are up in arms. They’re up in arms to say that the emphasis, the priority, all seems to be something else.
“That’s why I personally feel that they’ve done a fantastic job with running the club, bringing in extra revenue. But why you’re bringing in revenue is actually to build the squad that can glorify that stadium.
“That stadium deserves to have a wonderful team for Tottenham’s future, winning trophies. Fans would be happy. What a great environment to go and watch a football game with the atmosphere. That’s the vision that the club should have.”

Tottenham need a drastic change of fortunes very soon
To win over the Spurs fans, Levy needs to prioritise transparency, addressing years of frustration over perceived caution and unfulfilled promises.
He should invest boldly in the transfer market, targeting high-profile signings or proven talents to bolster the squad, signalling a departure from his cost-conscious reputation.
This could be achieved by leveraging Tottenham’s strong revenue streams boosted by their world-class stadium and negotiating creatively to secure deals.
Levy must strengthen communication with supporters as they are the heart and soul of the club.
Perhaps through regular, candid updates on club strategy, acknowledging past missteps like the Super League fiasco, and outlining a clear vision for silverware, he can try to repair the past damage.

Appointing a charismatic, attacking-minded manager after addressing Ange Postecoglou’s future might also help.
If Postecoglou wants to prove himself to the fans, he must deliver results, pushing for a trophy this season.
By balancing fiscal prudence with bold action, and showing genuine commitment to the club’s legacy, Levy can shift the narrative from scepticism to support, rekindling the passion of Tottenham’s loyal fanbase.
