Daniel Levy called out as Arsenal move for Tottenham transfer target

Tottenham supporters have berated Daniel Levy for allowing Arsenal to enter the race to sign PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani.

According to Sky Sports Italy, as relayed by THFC Report (14 January), the Gunners have entered the race to sign the World Cup finalist.

Earlier on Tuesday (14 January), L’Equipe reported that Spurs have submitted their offer to PSG after much deliberation.

The 26-year-old was left out of the PSG squad over the weekend as the Ligue 1 giants weighed up all the available options, and Levy’s hesitance has allowed his North London rivals to enter the frame.

Arsenal challenge Tottenham for Randal Kolo Muani

This saga has dragged on for far too long, but now PSG have been presented with offers for the forward, it is very much decision time.

Should Muani opt for a move to the Gunners, Levy will once again be public enemy number one at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with supporters already anticipating the snub on social media.

One supporter dubbed the Spurs chairman “a joke”, while another fan already believes Muani’s future is decided, writing: “Levy dithering [on the deal] will cost us again”.

Whereas one supporter claims to be “fed up” with the speculation and believes Levy’s negotiating tactics will cost Tottenham, writing: “[I am] completely fed up with the Kolo Muani saga.

“Like usual, Spurs take anything fun or slightly interesting and make it painful. We are not getting him, it should be obvious by now.”

As things stand, Arsenal have yet to present a formal offer to PSG – Tottenham remains the Premier League frontrunner for Kolo Muani’s signature.

However, the emerging news that Nice forward Evann Guessand is now on the shortlist for Spurs [Daily Mail] will hardly fill the supporters with hope.

The future of the French international is yet to be decided, but the race could come down to the two sides in North London.
