Daniel Levy and Tottenham grant new James Maddison request
Daniel Levy has been a controversial figure at Tottenham for many years.
Spurs’ chairman has been largely blamed for the London club’s decline, with protests held against the Levy throughout the season.
However, Tottenham’s Europa League victory has relieved pressure on the chairman as a trophy was finally won for the first time in 17 years.
Now, Levy has won over more fans after he granted James Maddison a special request.

Daniel Levy allows Europa League trophy out of Tottenham
Maddison has not had much luck at Tottenham this season. The midfielder’s campaign has been plagued by injuries, which have prevented him from hitting a consistent run of form.
There are fears that Maddison may never play for Tottenham again after he picked up another injury before the Europa League final, ruling him out of the clash in Bilbao.
However, the 28-year-old has kept himself busy and recently held a golf event as he looks to return to fitness.
Now, a video has circulated on X (28 May) of the aftermath of this event, where Maddison was making a speech to the crowd.
Here, the attacking midfielder confirmed that Levy and Tottenham had allowed Maddison to bring the Europa League trophy to the golf event for photos.

Tottenham should look to keep hold of Maddison
Despite his injury woes, on his day, Maddison is an excellent player for Tottenham.
Even with his time on the sidelines, the attacking midfielder consistently gets close to 20 goal contributions a campaign at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Now, Maddison is entering his peak at 28 years old, and he could be a key player at the London club next season.
Hopefully, over the coming months, Spurs can keep hold of him and manage to keep him fit for the entirety of the upcoming campaign.
Then, he can finally silence any of his doubters in the media.
