Chris Rigg sends message to Tottenham ace amid ‘crazy’ Sunderland transfer news
Chris Rigg has sent a message to Tottenham sensation Mikey Moore as “crazy” Sunderland transfer news emerges.
Moore has burst onto the scene at Tottenham in the last year.
After making a couple of first-team appearances toward the back end of the 2023/24 campaign, the 17-year-old established himself as a regular part of the first team in the early months of this season.
However, the young forward has been in and out of the squad in recent weeks. Therefore, speculation has emerged over a potential summer exit and a potential move to Millwall.
Tottenham could greenlight a loan exit for Moore, as Rigg now sends his fellow England youth international a message.

Rigg sends a message to Moore
Rigg and Moore were both part of the England Under-19s team, which recently secured qualification for the Under-19 UEFA European Championship in June.
Both players played a major part, with Moore assisting Riggs’ match-winner in a 1-0 victory over Portugal’s Under-19s on Tuesday (25 March), a result which secured the Young Lions qualification for this year’s Euros in Romania.

After signing off from the March international break unbeaten, Moore took to his personal Instagram account (26 March) to share some action shots from the win over Portugal, captioning the post, “Onto Euros”.
Among the many commenters was Sunderland sensation Rigg, who posted two fire emojis, and it looks as though there is a possibility that Moore and Rigg could be playing alongside each other for both club and country next season.

Tottenham continue to plan for the future amid interest in Rigg
As reported by Fichajes (23 March), Tottenham have made a £38million offer for Rigg.
This fee was described as “crazy” by ex-Spurs scout Bryan King, who was speaking exclusively to Tottenham News.
However, whether or not the fee is perhaps slightly inflated, bringing Rigg to play alongside Moore at Tottenham could be very exciting for both the present and future.
Therefore, plenty of Spurs supporters would likely be in favour of the move.
