Bryan Mbeumo spotted with ex-Tottenham star just before new exit announcement
Tottenham will want to add quality to their ranks this summer, and it appears they are already in the company of greatness.
Now that Spurs have confirmed Champions League football, they can target players of a higher profile to drive them forward.
One player who would certainly add an attacking threat is Bryan Mbeumo, who is set to leave Brentford this summer.
Indeed, he has taken a photograph with an ex-Tottenham star, which is bound to get supporters carried away.

With the curtain drawn on the Premier League season, players can revel in some downtime away from the spotlight.
Blue skies, white sands, and the odd cocktail are common features of professional footballers’ Instagram stories.
However, that is not for everyone, as some instead embrace talent from other sports, including tennis.
After a phenomenal season at Brentford, Mbeumo has returned to his home country to watch one of the greatest shows on earth, Roland Garros.
Bryan Mbeumo’s 2024/25 Premier League statistics | Total |
Appearances | 38 |
Goals | 20 |
Expected goals (xG) | 12.26 |
Assists | 7 |
Goal conversion | 24% |
Big chances created | 17 |
Once dominated by the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal, this year is set to be contested by Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
As Mbeumo was taking in the action, he posed for a picture with departed Spurs man, Sergio Reguilon.
The photo was posted on Mbuemo’s Instagram story (30 May), along with a fond Reguilon message: “Happy to see you hermanito (little brother).”
Mbeumo then added: “Hermano (brother),” before a fist bump emoji and the all-important white love heart.

Mbeumo would be statement of intent for Tottenham
If they want to make their mark this summer, then Tottenham must prioritise a move for Mbeumo.
The forward keeps getting better and better in Ivan Toney’s absence and notched 27 goal involvements this season.
Such form has effectively ended his spell with the Bees, and teammate Christian Norgaard said he would not be there next term.
While they will face a battle to sign him, Tottenham must do all they can to sign the 25-year-old.
He is entering his peak and would be an upgrade on the likes of Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert.
Furthermore, Son Heung-min appears to be past his best and has just over a year left on his deal.
Spurs supporters will hope that agent Reguilon can work his magic and persuade Mbeumo to move to North London.
