Aston Villa make official Tottenham announcement, fans won’t be happy
Tottenham supporters will have a reason to be annoyed at a new announcement made by Aston Villa.
Spurs have had a tough season in the Premier League, with Ange Postecoglou’s men giving the fans very little to shout about throughout this campaign.
However, Tottenham still have a further seven matches to go before the season ends, and Spurs will need as much support as they can get during those games to finish in the best possible position.
The Lilywhites are currently struggling in 16th position, and will be counting themselves lucky that the bottom three teams are so far away that they’re not being dragged into a relegation battle.
However, the possibility of finishing just one place above the bottom three is very real, as West Ham are currently just one point below them in the Premier League.

Aston Villa confirm ticket details
Tottenham will be the final team to visit Villa Park this season, with their Premier League fixture due to take place on Sunday, 18 May.
However, Villa confirmed via their official website on Monday (21 April) that the kick-off time is not yet known due to their progress in the FA Cup.
The Villans will be playing against Crystal Palace in the semi-final of that competition, and the kick-off time for their Premier League game will be confirmed after that, while the match will also be moved to a new date if they progress to the final.
Premier League | Played | GD | Points |
15. Tottenham | 32 | +11 | 37 |
It’s a frustrating situation for Tottenham fans who have a long way to travel if they want to watch their team play against Villa, given that they’re waiting on other games before they can know for certain.
A possible 7pm kick-off time on a Sunday will also be extremely inconvenient for away fans, given how late it will be when the game finishes, as getting public transport back to London will be difficult.

Tottenham are focusing on Europe
Even though there are several Premier League games left to go, Spurs are putting all of their focus and attention on their European campaign.
Postecoglou’s men have reached the semi-final of the Europa League, where they will play Bodo/Glimt, and winning that competition could be one way of salvaging their season.
Daniel Levy tasked Postecoglou with achieving European football for next season, and given that winning the Europa League is the only way to make that happen, there’s no shortage of pressure on those games.
