Aaron Ramsey reacts to Arsenal v Tottenham controversy as he’s shown new footage
Aaron Ramsey has reacted to new footage of the controversial Arsenal corner goal against Tottenham on Wednesday.
Spurs took the lead in the North London Derby through Son Heung-min on 15 January but couldn’t hold on for long before Leandro Trossard made it 2-1.
Before the forward scored, a Dominic Solanke own goal resulted in the equaliser from a controversial corner which was awarded despite appearing to come off the Belgian before going out.
Despite initially agreeing with the referee’s decision, Ramsey changed his mind on Super Sport (8:54pm) after being shown fresh footage.
He said: “Yeah, I think it was a corner. I think looking back at it, it’s a goal kick isn’t it but they still have to set it up properly and do it right.”

It will come as great frustration to Ange Postecoglou that his side have fallen victim to what appeared to be a clear-cut decision.
The ball clearly comes off the Arsenal man before bobbling out for a corner regardless of prior contact from Pedro Porro.
With that being said, the Lilywhites still have to defend the set-piece which wasn’t the case as yet another goalkeeper, this time Antonin Kinsky, was left helpless.
On another day the decision goes the way of the away side and they maintain their lead but it wasn’t to be for Spurs in the North London Derby.
