Levy urged to sack Postecoglou in-play against Liverpool amid wild Anfield scenes
Tottenham made eight changes as they faced Liverpool at Anfield, and as expected, they were second-best on the day.
Ange Postecoglou’s main focus is on the upcoming Europa League semi-finals against Bodo/Glimt, as Tottenham’s only chance of qualifying for Europe.
This meant that Tottenham’s trip to face Liverpool, a game which would see the Reds win the Premier League with a draw, is low down the club’s list of priorities.
Spurs clearly had their eyes elsewhere, and it showed as they went 3-1 down by half time in a game they went on to lose 5-1, but fans are still furious with Postecoglou.

Tottenham fans fume at Postecoglou during Liverpool clash
Postecoglou looks likely to depart Tottenham at the end of this season, but some fans want to speed this process up as they are clearly fed up of his football.
Spurs did take a shock lead at Anfield through Dominic Solanke, but they were ripped apart by the hosts, and fans are calling for Daniel Levy to dismiss Postecoglou from his role as a matter of urgency.

Some believe that sacking Postecoglou now would give Tottenham a better chance in the Europa League, with his tactics fully exposed by Liverpool.
Tottenham’s frail defence exposed by Liverpool
One of the biggest criticisms of Postecoglou during his time at Spurs has been his disregard for defending, and this was apparent again at Anfield.
While main centre-backs Cristian Romero and Mickey Van de Ven were rested, Spurs were a mess out of possession, and Liverpool cut through their back line with ease.
Luis Diaz scored shortly after Solanke, with Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo adding to the scoreline within 13 minutes, while there were several other chances offered up to Liverpool players.
Despite the level of opposition, Postecoglou’s stubborn approach meant they headed into the game without a plan of how to stop Liverpool’s rampant attack, and fans are now hoping that a different manager could tighten up their leaky defence.
Spurs had conceded 51 goals in the Premier League before the trip to Anfield, and this is simply unacceptable for a side hoping to qualify for Europe.
