Tottenham travel away to Eintracht Frankfurt knowing a win will confirm their place in the Champions League’s round of 16.

Pressure is mounting on Thomas Frank to turn things around in N17, with multiple candidates tipped to take over at Spurs if he is sacked.

While the Premier League campaign has been poor, the Dane has picked up quite a few decent results in Europe.

Defeat in Germany could see the Lilywhites slip into the play-off rounds, and that will be a circumstance they will utterly want to avoid.

Just last month, the supercomputer predicted an 11th-place finish for Spurs in the Champions League.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham Hotspur to be shown on TNT Sports

Tottenham’s 2-2 draw against Burnley was not televised in the UK, but fans will not have to wait long now to see them in action.

Spurs travel to Germany to face Eintracht for their final league phase game of the current campaign.

Luckily for those who were unable to make the away trip, the game will be broadcast live.

Supporters in the UK will be able to watch the match on TNT Sports 5 on Wednesday evening, with coverage starting at 7:30pm for an 8pm kick-off.

Additionally, if you do not have access to a TV, TNT Sports subscribers can watch online via the Discovery+ app and website.

With it being the last Champions League matchday, all games kick off at the same time.

Tottenham’s record vs Frankfurt provides hope for Frank

Tottenham have played Frankfurt quite often throughout history, and Spurs fans will certainly have fond memories of travelling to the Deutsche Bank Arena last season.

A Dominic Solanke penalty was enough to send them through to the semi-final of the Europa League after drawing 1-1 in the first leg.

Spurs, under Ange Postecoglou, went on to win the trophy.

However, the Lilywhites did also face the Germans back in the 2022-2023 Champions League competition as well.

The Eagles once again failed to beat Tottenham over two group-stage matches, with the London club winning 3-2 at home and drawing 0-0 away.

In fact, you have to go all the way back to the 1981-1982 Cup Winners’ Cup to find a Frankfurt win vs Spurs.

Even in that case, the North London club still beat them on aggregate over two legs. Hopefully this can be a good omen for Spurs.
