Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham result predicted by Supercomputer

Tottenham will hope to continue their winning record against Bodo/Glimt on Tuesday.

Tottenham won both UEFA Europa League semi-final legs against the Norwegians to book a place in the finals last season.

Spurs went on to secure a victory over Manchester United to lift the trophy and catalyse a series of events which would see the Joe Lewis family prioritise Tottenham’s sporting success.

While the Lilywhites will be looking to continue their winning ways at the Aspmyra Stadion, Bodo/Glimt will be out for revenge.

Tottenham favourites to win vs Bodo/Glimt

Thomas Frank will be hopeful for a victory after Spurs’ disappointing 1-1 draw to Wolves in the Premier League.

The Lilywhites have struggled with consistency since the season began and could be afforded the opportunity to make a start against the Norwegian side.

According to Opta’s Supercomputer, home advantage is a thing of the past with Tottenham the favourites heading into the confrontation.

Spurs have a 43.6 per cent chance of victory, while the home side has a 32.3 per cent chance of boosting their Champions League hopes.

There is a 24.1 per cent chance that the confrontation ends in a draw.

Xavi Simons could prove vital for Tottenham

Xavi Simons could start from the bench for Tottenham when the Lilywhites take on the Norwegian side.

This comes after suggestions that Simons could be growing frustrated with Frank’s role for him. The Dutchman has spent most of his time in North London on the left wing despite being a natural attacking midfielder.

However, the promising young star has more experience in the Champions League than most of Spurs’ attackers.

There is an argument to be made that Simons is among several European winners. However, the jump from the Europa League and Champions League is quite high.

As a result, it could be useful for Frank to test Simons in his natural position for this game. With multiple players having faced Bodo/Glimt before, the Dane could use the opportunity to experiment once again.

Either way, in a competition where every mistake counts, a little experience could go a long way for the Lilywhites.
