View: 100 Premier League goals – Heung-Min Son lights up Tottenham win v Brighton
Tottenham didn’t make it easy for themselves but they eventually picked up all three points against Brighton, with Heung-Min Son taking the headlines.
The Lilywhites managed to scrape past the Seagulls 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 08 April, with the South Korean scoring his 100th Premier League goal.
In a game full of VAR drama which saw goals disallowed and penalties waved away, Cristian Stellini and Roberto De Zerbi were both shown their marching orders too.

Son opened the scoring within 15 minutes with a wonderful curling effort, one of his very best when you look through his catalogue of goals in North London.
The 30-year-old had a hand in a little bit of everything, with his counter-attacking ability at its best as Brighton looked to keep hold of the ball.
The winger had one shot on goal, and completed one key pass but didn’t complete one successful dribble [WhoScored], showing just how efficient he was with his chance.

To show just how efficient Son was, you only have to look at the touch map.
The winger only touched the ball 30 times, the fewest of any player on the pitch, including Jason Steele and Hugo Lloris in each net at either side of him.

Tottenham have had a tendency to roll over when the going gets tough, but as the match was firing up around him, it was Son who was the cool head that his side needed.
Attackers can often get frustrated when they aren’t seeing as much of the ball, but Son is one of those who will just try and do more with the possession he does get.
This was the perfect example – 100 down, more to come.
